When I met Teddy he was a tiny eleven days old. He made an appearance into the world on Thursday the 16th June at 8.14am, after a very long labour! Poor mum! But it was sure to be worth every little bit…
It was lovely and warm in the Fare household when I arrived to photograph little newborn Teddy. It was a warm day anyway, but was made even hotter as the heating was on full blast to make the room warm to help teddy relax for the shoot. I always suggest that the heating is on for at least an hour before my visit. Dad (Gareth) was giving baby Teddy a feed as I walked in and the football was on in the background. The European Football Championship was taking place at the time, so dad Gareth being a football fan, was gearing up for the England v Iceland match that took place that evening.
Mum (Jayde) entered the room and brought in some very cute little knits her Aunt had made. Very well knitted and finished, just adorable (You will see little Teddy wearing them in the pictures below). It didn’t take Teddy too long to settle down for the shoot, after a little more milk. Using the natural light pouring in from the window I took a few shots of Teddy whilst he still had his eyes open, and then took the majority whilst he was sleeping. We tried out lots of different compositions and of course we dressed him in his little outfits. Teddy was a natural born poser, perfect for the photoshoot!
At the end of the shoot, out came the tiny England football kit. Teddy was showing his full support for England that evening, following in his dads footsteps! Unfortunately we lost the match!
It was a pleasure to met Gareth, Jayde and Teddy. What a lovely little family! Thank you for letting me take pictures of Teddy.
