Simone and Steve chose to have the whole of their big day in one venue and the Manners Arms in Knipton is the perfect place for this! It is a lovely venue, set in the Vale of Belvior. For weddings the Manners offers a Marquee option that can be added onto the conservatory to the side of the building. The Manners Arms is a late 18th-century brick building which has been known throughout its existence as the Red House. The rain poured for most of the morning and cleared up just before the ceremony took place.
The guests gathered into the marquee which opened up into the conservatory (where the ceremony took place) and took their seats. The groom eagerly waited for his bride and the ceremony began. In walked the bridesmaids wearing gorgeous over the knee dresses and each carried a bouquet of roses. Followed was the beautiful bride herself Simone and her proud father, arm in arm as they walked down the aisle.
After the ceremony the guests headed off into the other rooms and outside for drinks and mingled amongst each other whilst the Bridal party had their photographs taken.
It was a lovely day and the weather certainly didn’t affect the guests or bridal party!
